KATHLEEN CASEY, WHAT'S IN YOUR BAG!?

I am so excited to enjoy my first bridal market as co-owner of the Bella Bridesmaid Franchise Group! My daughter, Erin, and I recently acquired the franchise, but she is having her second child in 3 weeks and is unable to attend Bridal Market this year. Erin, we will miss you and make sure not to eat anything spicy until I get back!!

As the face of the new franchisors in NYC and the "mom" of the group, I need to be organized on behalf of 43 franchisees, but also make sure everyone is taken care of mentally and physically! My purse is consequently a hodgepodge of vitamins, itineraries, and personal pick me ups. Here are the things in my bag that will keep me and my Bella family in good spirits and on track all week. Cheers!

-Kathleen Casey

To pack for Market, I do my best to pick dresses in basic tones so I can rotate my accessories and pack *relatively* light (to accommodate all of the line sheets I'll be flying home with). ;)

Here are my three new additions for 2012:

The perfect collarless topper for EVERY outfit - my black 3-button overcoat from Club Monaco that I bought here in NYC two years ago. An INDISPENSABLE oldie, but goodie!

Just as sleek as a little black dress, my Russell + Hazel Audrey Five File Expanding Tote....

  1. This is a very useful curriculum. Running a franchise is hard work, but with the right training, knowledge, and tools, success can come easily. I’m interested about your ideas on how to put technology to work for one’s business. At present, technology is the primary tool that franchisees should learn to maximize. There are those which are provided by the franchisor, but there are other pieces of technology with hidden potentials for business use.

  2. For establishing the successful business we need more money, for that if we take loan, we need to pay lots of interest on it. But with the help of franchise we can easily getting more benefits and popularity.

  3. I agree with Lonnie. You are evidently skilled and knowledgeable about franchising, but I bet you’ll become a much more effective franchisor, as the company is all yours now. Your experiences will definitely give you more insights and ideas on how to run your business well. Good luck, my friend. =)
