Della here, from Smitten Mag! For this "En Trend" post, my first thought was Ombré. French for
"shaded", Ombré is a trend that firmly resonates in the hearts of brides to
be. First spotted in 2011, the Ombré effect has found it's way into weddings
every, which, way… from florals and cakes, to graduated shades of bridesmaid dresses.
Why ombré - why not? The subtle color changes from light to dark create
interesting focal points for any aspect of the big day. The graduated tones are
the perfect way for a bride to indulge in color, without over doing it. Ombré
is an easily translatable trend accessible to every bride, offering a fresh
infusion of color in a soft, yet romantic way.
